2. Delivery & Pickup Options
We offer the following options for obtaining and returning your rental equipment:
Yacht Gear Hire Delivery & Pickup Service:
Availability: Our team can deliver the equipment directly to your yacht or a designated marina location and pick it up at the end of your rental period.
Scheduling:
Delivery and pickup times will be scheduled at the time of your booking and confirmed in your Rental Agreement. We ask that you provide a specific 1-hour window for both delivery and pickup.
Fees:
A delivery and pickup fee will be applied to your order. This fee is calculated based on the distance from our [Your Base Location] and the size/nature of the equipment. The exact fee will be displayed during the booking process.
On-site Contact:
An authorized individual (captain, first officer, or designated crew member) must be present at the agreed location during delivery and pickup to sign for the equipment and conduct an initial inspection.
Identification:
Valid photo identification and a copy of your Rental Agreement may be required at the time of delivery.
Customer Pickup & Return
Availability:

3. Delivery & Pickup Lead Times

4. Preparation for Delivery / Pickup
For Delivery:

5. Delays & Modifications
Customer Delays:
If you anticipate a delay in receiving or returning equipment, please notify us immediately. Delays in return may result in additional rental charges as per the Rental Agreement.
Yacht Gear Hire Delays: While we strive for punctuality, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., traffic, adverse weather, mechanical issues) may cause delays. We will notify you promptly of any such delays and work to reschedule as quickly as possible. We are not liable for any consequential losses due to delivery/pickup delays.
6. Equipment Inspection
Upon delivery/pickup by Yacht Gear Hire, our team will conduct an inspection of the equipment. You (or your authorized representative) will be asked to sign an acknowledgment of the equipment's condition.
Upon return/pickup by Yacht Gear Hire, the equipment will be inspected. Any new damage, excessive wear beyond reasonable use, or missing components will be assessed, and relevant charges will be deducted from your security deposit or billed separately as per the Rental Agreement.
7. International Deliveries
At this time, Yacht Gear Hire primarily serves South of France and Italian Liguria coast For international inquiries, please contact us directly to discuss feasibility and specific terms.
8. Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date."
